4th Grade, Nimmons, 06-010 – Field Day

Objective:

  1. Students will participate in an end-of-year activity.
  2. Announcements:
    1. The last day for any late work for Q4 is Thursday, June 4th!
      1. This provides 2 weeks at the end of the Quarter for Mr. Smith to grade late work.
      2. For the rest of the Quarter we are using the PGCPS guideline of one day per lawful absence. Work from missed days will not be accepted after that.
  3. Previous Lessons: Lesson 3, Tux Typing 1, Lesson 4, Tux Math 1, Intro to Micro:Bit, Micro:Bit Buttons, Tux Typing 2, Micro:Bit Sensors, Tux Math 2, Luanti Circles, Luanti Parkour
  4. Today's Lesson: Field Day
    1. While there is still a scheduled "Creative Arts" time, this is historically done outside during our annual Field Day. As such, the lesson is being prepared by the PE department and our amazing PTO.
    2. Should we have class in the lab, we will continue with our Luanti lessons.
