- The last day for any late work is Friday, October 16th!
- All work not completed by then will remain a zero.
- Any work assigned after then is due the same day.
Objective:
- Students will script an audio project to see how Media Arts can relate to things outside of the computer lab.
9:45-9:55: Start of Class
- Students will enter and go to the front of the class, where Mr. Smith will walk them through the assignment for the day.
- Students will find their assigned seats and be walked through the process for logging into the computers. (Students who were in Mr. Smith's room last year may remember how to do this, but reminders are good for everyone.)
- The process concludes with students logging into their Canvas account, which is where they will hand in work at the end of class.
9:55-10:35: Instruction & Student Work
- Students will work on Lesson 1 of the Audio Production Unit.
- Rubric, Objective, Standards, and links can be found here.
- The final result for the day's work will be a photo of their hand-written script.
10:35-10:45: End of Class
- Students will use the computer's webcam to photograph their finished script and hand it in via Canvas.
- Once completed, they will shut down their computer and help someone else with this process (if needed) before lining up to return to class.
Missed Assignment?
- Parents: If you are reading this because your child was absent and they need to make up the work, look over Lesson 1 here. Note that we are ONLY doing Lesson 1 today. A student handing in a recording will NOT earn credit for a script! The work should be submitted as a photo in Canvas.
- Note the end date for late work in the Announcements above. If the Canvas assignment is not accepting work, your child missed the deadline to hand work in!
