THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY!

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will be able to:
      1. Locate the home row on the keyboard.
      2. Type selected keys with a minimum number of errors.
  1. Announcements:
    1. The last day for any late work for Q4 is Thursday, June 4th!
      1. This provides 2 weeks at the end of the Quarter for Mr. Smith to grade late work.
  2. Previous Lessons: Lesson 3, Tux Typing 3, Lesson 4, Lesson 5, Tux Math 1, Lesson 6, Tux Typing 4, Lesson 7, Lesson 8, Lesson 9
  3. Today's Lesson: Tux Typing 4
    1. Tux Typing Lesson 1Today's lesson has us typing again, but using a program Mr. Smith has installed on his computers.
    2. Students who are absent today should log in with Clever and go to Typing.com to complete the O, B, and A Keys lesson. Mr. Smith will be able to verify progress online.
    3. Grading Rubric:
      5 Pts Student focused on completing the assigned typing lesson.
      4 Pts Student logged into the computer with minimal assistance.
      3 Pts Student was able to log into the computer with some assistance from Mr. Smith.

    4. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. While late work will be accepted up until June 4th, it WILL be late!
