THIS VIDEO REVIEWS THE MOST IMPORTANT CONTENT COVERED IN CLASS TODAY! (It was made for my Q1 class, but the content is the same.)
- Objective:
- Students will share feedback concerning their web site designs to cross-pollinate ideas and skills.
- Warm-Up: Feedback Prep
- Download this file and extract its contents into your Downloads folder.
- This is a collection of all websites handed in last week, organized with a site directory.
- This will only work if the contents are extracted. You cannot view the web pages correctly inside the zip file.
- Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.
- Download this file and extract its contents into your Downloads folder.
- Computer Setup
- Deadlines: (Content is subject to change due to various factors including All-Major days and inclement weather days.)
- Warm-Ups: Due daily
- Week 10 Assignments Due 01-23 (2 days)
- Lesson 21: Peer Review
- You will need two things for this assignment:
- This is a two day Assessment grade. You are expected to critique EVERY website handed in to earn 100%.
- Begin by critiquing YOUR OWN work.
- Once your work is critiqued, critique the work of the next person on the list below your name.
- If you reach the end of the list before you have completed all of the critiques, loop around to the top of the list and continue.
- Rubric:
-
- Meaningful Positive Feedback: 1 pt per critique.
- ("Good job!" is generic, not meaningful.)
- Actionable Constructive Feedback: 1 pt per critique.
- ("Fix your code" provides no advice for how to do that.)
- ("This is boring" is negative, not constructive feedback.)
- It is clear the person giving the critique actually looked at the website: 1 pt per critique.
- Meaningful Positive Feedback: 1 pt per critique.

- Lesson 21: Peer Review
- Week 11 Assignments Due 01-26 (1 day)

- Exit Tickets
- There will be no additional Exit Tickets for Q2.
- Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or re-submission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of the last class of the week.
