  1. Objective:
    1. Students will begin the planning process of their first multi-day project to learn the best practices of being a good digital citizen.
  2. Warm-Up: 2025-09-09: Stages of Production
    1. Directions: Use the text box in Canvas to define the following vocabulary terms. You will be quizzed on this, so don't JUST copy/paste a definition. Make sure you understand what each term means as it relates to Digital Media Arts.
      1. Pre-Production (Often written as "Preproduction.")
      2. Production*
      3. Post-Production (Often written as "Postproduction" or referred to as simply "Post".)

        *Only 8 students got this question correct on the Pre-Test.

    2. Grading Rubric:
      2 pts Vocabulary defined.
      3 pts Proofread your work.
    3. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.
    4. Announcements:
      1. September's Arcade Day are scheduled for 09/30.
        1. You will need to have a 70% OR HIGHER in this class to be eligible.
        2. This does not change any deadlines.
        3. This will also be a T-Shirt Printing Day.

    • Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.
    • Feedback from the critiques is provided in the Canvas assignment for that project.
    • Projects are eligible for re-submission, but only once. They must be resubmitted using the same form as before, and no later than 10 days after feedback has been shared with them in Canvas. The 4th project of each Quarter is not eligible for re-submission due to its proximity to the end of the Quarter!
    • Deadlines for future projects are not adjusted. Students are encouraged to not put off starting Project 4 because they've decided to work on redoing Project 3 from scratch.
