THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY!

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will be able to:
      1. Navigate through Luanti's 3D virtual world.
      2. Select items from the Inventory.
      3. Customize their character.
  2. Announcements:
    1. The last day for any late work for Q4 is Thursday, June 4th!
      1. This provides 2 weeks at the end of the Quarter for Mr. Smith to grade late work.
      2. For the rest of the Quarter we are using the PGCPS guideline of one day per lawful absence. Work from missed days will not be accepted after that.

  4. Today's Lesson: Luanti Intro
    1. Students who are absent today should log in with Clever and go to Code.org and/or Typing.com to complete missing work!
    2. All students who have made up assignments will be learning to use a program called Luanti. Mr. Smith has modded it to resemble Minecraft. Today is an introductory lesson where students will learn the controls and the norms.
    3. Students who are absent today can earn credit by creating a "house" in Voxels and having a parent share it via ClassDojo.
  5. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. While late work will be accepted up until June 4th, it WILL be late!
