CS Discoveries 10/19 Plan

Hello BDF Family. As I am writing this I have noticed that I can no longer update my CS Discoveries canvas course. I won't know what this means for students until we troubleshoot together today. However, all accounts in code.org are still live, meaning we can continue with today's lesson as planned. I will pass out paper for today's warm-up question, and have the link to the webpage project loaded here on fouloistech.info.

Here's the warm-up question for today: What does the <a> tag do? Also, what is the attribute you use inside the tag and what does it do?

Today's Classwork: Following the plan made about making our webpages, we will create that webpage using what we created previously and adding things based on what we are missing from the following:

1) At least 4 webpages created, 1 main page and 3 subpages. Each subpage should link back to the main page, and the main page should link to the subpages.

2) On each webpage, I want to see at least 10 html elements inside the <body> element. Also, each page should be linked to a css file. You can use multiples of the same element inside the body element. Also, add at least one class statement on one of the pages.

3) In your css file, I want to see at least 12 properties affected. You can use multiples of the same property in different rule-sets. However, you can't us multiple of the same rule-set (meaning each selector should be pointed out only once in the code).

4) I want at least one picture on each page with appropriate credits (you can't say I got it from google or wikipedia, give me either the name of the artist or the name of the site it's from).

5) The code must be clean. No errors, everything should work, and everything should be in the right place.

Each of the above sections are worth 20 points for a total of 100. I will only help with technical issues, you will work on this on your own with all that you know. Getting help from others will deduct points from all involved, this is a final exam. This will be due by the 27th (meaning I will grade these by then). Note, anything you pull off in this assignment that relates to previous lessons can count toward partial make-up points.
