Hello BDF family! Today we will first dedicate some class time on allowing a few students to make-up any missing work (including the SGM test we did last week), and then jump into connecting students to WeVideo as a possible option for video recording. I'll always stress that they can use any editing tool they want for projects that they have access to, however I still offer WeVideo in case some students may not already have that access to an editing tool. I will showcase some of the features including some advanced techniques that could come in handy for future projects (for example censorship of product placement to be eligible for film festival work). I will also go over new vocabulary (for this year, it will be more review for returning students) related to the post production process (A roll, B roll, rough and final cut to name a few) that students will be encouraged to keep notes of.
