Today we will be making short stories by typing them here and keeping in mind a new term called "inciting incident". This is when something happens that makes our story more interesting. For example: I ran to the basement to get my bike. Suddenly, I heard a weird sound coming from the corner of the basement.

Notice how in the example above the story became more interesting in the second sentence because something Suddenly happens. Now it's your turn. I want you to type me a 3 sentence story, where your second sentence makes something interesting happen in your story.
