- Announcements:
- Lesson 6 (2nd attempt due 10/5), Lesson 7 (2nd attempt due 10/10), Lesson 9 (2nd attempt due 10/12), and Lesson 11 (2nd attempt due 10/16) await your 2nd attempts.
- You MUST resubmit the assignment in Canvas for me to know you're ready for me to check it.
- I WILL NOT CHECK THIS ASSIGNMENT AGAIN UNLESS YOU TELL ME THERE THAT YOU'RE READY BY RESUBMITTING THE ASSIGNMENT IN CANVAS! You get one attempt to fix your 1st try. Make it count.
- NO late work will be accepted after October 19th (2 weeks before the end of the Quarter.) To allow late work later than that would not give me time to grade it.

- Make a copy of this worksheet.
- Make sure to set the permissions so Mr. Smith can see it.
- Hand in the share link in the text box in Canvas.
- Complete all sections of the worksheet.
- Your website should be on a topic that's meaningful to you. Suggestions include but ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work you've created for your major.
- A social interest about which you have strong opinions.
- A hobby on which you spend a lot of time.
- You will need images that fit well with your chosen topic.
- If it involves work you've made yourself, the images might be the most important part.
- Include citations for all the images you intend to include. This will save you from having to look them up on Friday.
- Possible image sources include:
- OpenClipArt.org (Vector graphics!)
- Pics4Learning (Mostly photos, free for education projects only.)
- PublicDomainVectors.org (Vector graphics!)
- Smithsonian Open Access ("4.5 million 2D and 3D digital items")
- Unsplash (Stock photos of varying quality. Free to use and remix, but not distribute as-is.)
- You're also encouraged to use images you make yourself, but remember to avoid images that identify you or others.
- Remember that we don't have the time for "busy-work." This is a lesson that Mr. Smith decided was important enough to focus on, so it's important enough to be graded.
- This will tie in with Lesson 13, which will be due Friday. Doing well for THIS lesson will relate directly to your ability to do well for that one.
