    2. Warm-Up: 2026-03-09: Darnall's Chance Post-Production<\/strong><\/a>\n

      1. Revisit the work you did last time for Darnall's Chance.
        \n(Note: A bug with the Kdenlive Shortcut has it pointing to the wrong file on multiple computers. The app is in the \"bin\" folder inside the \"Kdenlive\" folder. The shortcut can be fixed and you might end up helping with that today.)<\/span><\/p>\n
          \n
        1. Do you have clips<\/span> in place?<\/li>\n
        2. Are the required graphics<\/a> in place?<\/li>\n
        3. Is the copyright information<\/a> in place?<\/li>\n
        4. Is your voice-over<\/span> or chroma keyed insert<\/span> in place?<\/li>\n
        5. Do you have subtitles?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        6. Export your work<\/a> as it is so far and hand it in via Canvas<\/a>. (As no project should be over 60 seconds this should not take long.)<\/span><\/li>\n
        7. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

          1. March's Arcade Day is not yet scheduled. If we have it (4 students forgot to hand in Project 2 when they had the February Arcade Day to do it), it will be the week before Spring Break.<\/strong><\/span>\n

            1. You will need to have a 70% OR HIGHER in this class to be eligible.<\/li>\n

            4. NPR Student Podcast Challenge for 2026<\/strong><\/a>\n

              1. The 2026 edition of the Student Podcast Challenge will open on Jan. 5<\/span> and close on June 5<\/span>. But if you'd like to be considered for their special America 250 prize, the deadline is May 1<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
