  1. Objective:<\/strong>\n

    1. Students will learn about Darnall's chance and ask meaningful questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Warm-Up: 2026-01-06: <\/strong>Confer with your team leads<\/a> so you can work on a shared document to collect information about Darnall's Chance.\n
        \n
      1. TEAM LEADS<\/a>: Create a Google Doc for your team if you haven't already done so.<\/li>\n
      2. Give permission to VIEW<\/span> to your entire team.<\/li>\n
      3. You MAY assign a scribe to take notes. THEY should have editing permission. (And should know they're the scribe,)<\/li>\n
      4. If you don't have a scribe, the duty falls to you.<\/li>\n
      5. Provide Mr. Smith with editing rights (aaron.smith@pgcps<\/span>, not any of the other Aaron Smiths, please) so he can verify this has been done.<\/li>\n
      6. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      7. Announcements<\/strong>:<\/strong>\n

        1. January's Arcade Day is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th.<\/span><\/strong>\n
            \n
          1. You will need to have a 70% OR HIGHER in this class to be eligible.<\/li>\n
          2. This does not change any deadlines.<\/li>\n
          3. This will also be a T-Shirt Printing Day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          4. NPR Student Podcast Challenge for 2026<\/strong><\/a>\n
              \n
            1. The 2026 edition of the Student Podcast Challenge will open on Jan. 5<\/span> and close on June 5<\/span>. But if you'd like to be considered for their special America 250 prize, the deadline is May 1<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Darnall's Chance House Museum<\/strong>\n

              1. The Historians will be visiting us on January 6th<\/span>.\n
