Our 1st Quarter will focus on media creation, while or 2nd Quarter will focus more on coding.<\/p>\n

      1. Construct a precise sequence of instructions for dragging and dropping.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. Announcements:<\/strong>\n

        1. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Monday, January 12th!<\/strong><\/span>\n
            \n
          1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter and is far more lenient than PGCPS policy.<\/li>\n
          2. Work owed from unexcused absences<\/span> will still not be accepted.<\/li>\n
          3. Between January 12th and the last day of the Quarter, PGCPS policy will be followed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          4. Vocabulary<\/strong>:\n

            1. Algorithm<\/strong> - A list of steps to finish a task.<\/li>\n
            2. Drag<\/strong> - Click your mouse button and hold as you move the mouse pointer to a new location<\/li>\n
            3. Drop<\/strong> - Release your mouse button to \"let go\" of an item that you are dragging<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

              1. \"\"We will begin by using Clever to log into Code.org.<\/a>\n

                1. Only Code.org logins done through Clever will show the work that has been assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                2. The only lesson that should be visible is the one for today: Lesson 2. It will have 12 Levels to complete, though each of them is relatively short in scope.<\/li>\n
                3. Grading Rubric:<\/strong>\n

                  1. Students earn 1 point for each level turned BRIGHT GREEN<\/span> by completing it.<\/li>\n
                  2. Pale green Levels are incomplete and therefore not counted.<\/li>\n
                  3. CHALLENGE<\/span> Levels are counted as Extra Credit<\/span>.<\/li>\n
