Not everyone is coming to this with expert camera skills.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">EVERY<\/span> photographer takes photos that don't work out. Every single one. The focus for today is not to point out everything that didn't work. It's to point out what did, and how things could be improved.\n<ol>\n<li>Negative feedback puts people down. Constructive feedback helps them up. Let's be constructive.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Not every photo is art.\n<ol>\n<li>Is it a photo of someone else's art?<\/li>\n<li>What <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">IS<\/span> art?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>The process for today:\n<ol>\n<li>We will look through the photos (sorted by camera) for ones we like and want to talk about.<\/li>\n<li>We will have an in-class discussion about what worked and how things can be improved.<\/li>\n<li>We will talk about the definition of art - <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">THIS HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS!<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Art<\/strong>ificial - A person made it.<\/li>\n<li>Drawing, Painting, &amp; Sculpture - Focused on Visual Art, leaves out a lot of what we call art today.<\/li>\n<li>Something Creative - A more welcoming definition, but what is creativity?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>At the end of class, <a href=\"https:\/\/pgcps.instructure.com\/courses\/841946\/assignments\/14953602\">you have some questions to answer.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK.
