Our 1st semester will focus on media creation, while or 2nd semester will focus more on coding.<\/p>\n

Regardless of the lesson, FouloisTech.info<\/a> should be your destination every time you come into class. This space will be used to provide announcements, lessons, and other resources.<\/p>\n

  1. Objective:<\/strong>\n

    1. Students will add audio and images into WeVideo to begin the animation process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Announcements:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. Arts Assessments are December 2-December 6! These will determine your major for next year! Be ready!<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
      2. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, October 17th!<\/strong>\n
          \n
        1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Audio 1<\/a>,\u00a0 Audio 2<\/a>, Audio 3<\/a>, Audio 4<\/a>, and Audio 5<\/a> are past due!<\/li>\n
        3. Video 1<\/a>, Video 2<\/a>, Video 3<\/a> are past due!<\/li>\n
        4. All assignments up thru Video 2 will be on the Progress Report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        5. Today's Lesson\n

          1. Video 4: Animation Edit (Part 1 of 2)<\/a>\n
              \n
            1. Today, we are going to\u00a0continue using\u00a0WeVideo<\/a>.\n
                \n
              1. You will need the following things:\n
                  \n
                1. Your storyboard from\u00a0Video 2<\/li>\n
                2. Your recording from Video 3 (I put all the ones I could find in this folder.<\/a>)<\/li>\n
                3. The\u00a0Character Art<\/a><\/li>\n
                4. The\u00a0Background Art<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. Listen\u00a0to your recording!\n
                      \n
                    1. Make sure when Lesson 3 wrapped up, your recording was set up in a way where you would be happy with it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                    2. Download your two (2) chosen animals<\/a> and one (1) chosen background.<\/a>\n
                        \n
                      1. (You may still have them in your Downloads folder from when you were working on your storyboard.)<\/li>\n
                      2. Import these three (3) images into WeVideo.<\/a> Along with your recording from Video Lesson 3, this is all you will need today.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                      3. Follow Mr. Smith's directions for moving the characters into position, then cutting and\/or copying the image clip to create the illusion of movement.\n
                          \n
                        1. Ideally the cuts should happen AT LEAST after each sentence, but in Mr. Smith's example<\/a> they were moved slightly more often to set a particular tone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                        2. Move the clips\u00a0so they're in the right order!<\/li>\n
                        3. Delete\u00a0any fragments or flubs that don't belong in your finished video!<\/li>\n
                        4. Use the text box in Canvas and share something you noticed when editing today.<\/a><\/li>\n
                        5. DO NOT HAND IN A VIDEO! ONLY A SENTENCE!<\/strong> (You'll be handing in your video next class.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          1. You will only have two attempts to hand this in. If your first attempt does not earn a 10\/10 you will receive feedback on how to improve it.<\/span><\/li>\n
