    1. Students will create a punny script to prepare for their animation project.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

      1. Arts Assessments are December 2-December 6! These will determine your major for next year! Be ready!<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
      2. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, October 17th!<\/strong><\/span>\n

        1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Audio 1<\/a>,\u00a0 Audio 2<\/a>, Audio 3<\/a>, Audio 4<\/a>, and Audio 5<\/a> are past due! Have you handed in your scripts and recordings?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

            1. Note: Animation is one of the categories in the annual PGCPS Student Film Festival! Recordings that are well done may be considered for entry into the contest!<\/li>\n
            2. Grading Rubric:
              \n\n\n\n\n\n
              4 Points<\/td>\nStory has very few spelling and\/or grammatical errors. Proofread!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              3 Points<\/td>\nStory has one animal tell an animal themed joke to another animal, and includes the other animal's reaction.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              3 Points<\/td>\nStory is appropriate for school.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

              1. Today, Mr. Smith is going to show you how WeVideo can be used to create an animation.<\/a><\/li>\n
              2. Think about how simple changes to character placement, tone of voice, character design, and camera directions can change how the audience perceives the character.<\/li>\n
              3. Use the paper handout<\/a> (or the text box in Canvas<\/a>) and write a short script where Animal A greets Animal B, shares an animal themed joke, and gets a reaction from Animal B.\n

                1. While any school-appropriate animal themed joke is fair game, puns are encouraged.<\/li>\n
                2. A variety of animal art licensed for reuse has been collected for this lesson.Opens in a new window<\/span><\/a> It's suggested you browse these images to get an idea of what characters you might want to include.\n

                  1. If you want to use an animal not included in the above link, Mr. Smith might be able to find it for you.<\/li>\n

                  3. Proofread your script! If you're following the step above, you may have already noticed some spelling or grammatical errors. Fix them as you find them in order to avoid losing points later.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    1. You will only have two attempts to hand this in. If your first attempt does not earn a 10\/10 you will receive feedback on how to improve it.<\/span><\/li>\n
