    1. No late work for 4th Quarter will be accepted after Friday, May 31st!<\/strong><\/span>\n

      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of 4th Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n
      2. Lesson 2<\/a> was due on 4\/2. Lesson 3<\/a> was due on 4\/5. Lesson 4<\/a> was due on 4\/11. These are graded and in SchoolMax.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Today's Lesson: Code.org Lesson 5: Mini-Project: Virtual Pet

        1. Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org,\u00a0which you should log into through Clever.<\/a>\n
            \n
          1. There is a known bug where sometimes it will log you in through Google instead.<\/li>\n
          2. You'll know this has happened because you won't see our class (51-Elem Media Arts 2023-2024) listed near the bottom of your Code.org Dashboard.<\/li>\n
          3. If this happens, I cannot track your progress and you'll get a zero for the lesson.\n

            1. To fix this, log out of Code.org and log back in through Clever.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Remember to not start today's lesson until all previous lessons have been completed! Each lesson builds up the skills needed for the next one.<\/li>\n

              1. This lesson has seven (7) Levels. (I will frequently call them \"Bubbles\" as that's what I've been calling them with my younger students.)\n

                1. The first is an \"Exploration\" Level, where you are shown code and asked to see what it does.<\/li>\n
                2. Levels 2-6 are linked together. Completing them results in you creating your own virtual pet.<\/li>\n
                3. Level 7 is a \"Free Play\" activity that will not be graded. Don't skip ahead to this one before completing 1-6.<\/li>\n
                4. Because this is a Mini-Project<\/strong>, this will be graded as a 6 point assessment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                5. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!<\/strong><\/span>\n
