The Online Voting Window will close at 11:59 p.m. on April 1, 2024.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>T<\/strong><strong>oday's Lesson: MineTest Monster Attack!<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Today's lesson will be completed in MineTest, which I have installed on the Lab computers.<\/li>\n<li>To begin today's work, you will need to complete ALL missing Code.org work.\n<ol>\n<li>If you previously completed your Code.org work, Mr. Smith has a username and password for you to use to connect to the in-room MineTest server.<\/li>\n<li>If you complete your Code.org work during class today, you will have to show Mr. Smith in order to receive your username and password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Smith will show the class how to log in, and the basic rules you are expected to follow.\n<ol>\n<li>We are beginning our unit in Survival Mode, with damage turned on.\n<ol>\n<li>Your town is being assaulted by monsters! Defend the town!<\/li>\n<li>If you ended the last session outside of town, you've been moved inside.<\/li>\n<li>If you had glowstone, obsidian, or bedrock in your inventory, it was removed.<\/li>\n<li>Most of you have been given armor and swords to help defend the town. (Some of you already had some armor and swords, those items have not been replaced.)<\/li>\n<li>Some villagers have run to your town seeking help! Make sure to protect them!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>This is easiest to do if you pick different responsibilities as you work together, but its YOUR jobs to work together.<\/li>\n<li>You MUST NOT mess with any other students. Doing so can get you banned from the server. This includes, but is not limited to:\n<ol>\n<li>Intentionally attacking other players.<\/li>\n<li>Getting in the other student's way when they are placing blocks.<\/li>\n<li>Destroying blocks that are part of their build.<\/li>\n<li>Throwing things at other students.<\/li>\n<li>Spawning creatures that do any of the things above.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(No video today, as the window for missing work has closed and the only new activity can ONLY be done in class.)
