    1. No late work for 3rd Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, March 21st!<\/strong><\/span>\n

      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of 3rd Quarter and just before Spring Break. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. Lesson 2<\/a> was due 1\/23. Lesson 3<\/a> was due 1\/26.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Today's Lesson: Code.org Lesson 4: Sprites in Action<\/a>

        1. Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org,\u00a0which you should log into through Clever.<\/a>\n
            \n
          1. There is a known bug where sometimes it will log you in through Google instead.<\/li>\n
          2. You'll know this has happened because you won't see our class (53-Elem Media Arts 2023-2024) listed near the bottom of your Code.org Dashboard.<\/li>\n
          3. If this happens, I cannot track your progress and you'll get a zero for the lesson.<\/li>\n
          4. To fix this, log out of Code.org and log back in through Clever.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          5. Remember to not start today's lesson until all previous lessons have been completed! Each lesson builds up the skills needed for the next one.<\/span><\/li>\n

            1. This lesson has nine (9) Levels (I will frequently call them \"Bubbles\" as that's what I've been calling them with my younger students.)\n

              1. The first is a \"Prediction\" Level, where you are shown code and asked a multiple choice question about what will happen.<\/li>\n
              2. The 2nd Level is a video about making sprites do things..<\/li>\n
              3. Levels 3-7 are for skill building.<\/li>\n
              4. Level 8 provides additional practice. There are six (6) activities in Level 8, but you only need to do one of them.<\/li>\n
              5. Level 9 is a \"Free Play\" activity that will not be graded. Don't skip ahead to this one before completing 1-8.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              6. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!<\/strong><\/span>\n
