Today's to-do list includes the following items:<\/p>\n

  1. Warm-Up:\u00a0<\/strong>\n
      \n
    1. Ask Mr. Smith a question about digital media.<\/a>\n
        \n
      1. It is Mr. Smith's intention to answer all questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or resubmission.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Scheduling<\/strong>\n
          \n
        1. Take a moment to check your schedule in SchoolMax to see your 3rd Quarter elective. A small number of students were given the same class twice. (Example: Given the Drama elective for Q1 and again for Q3.) Make sure this didn't happen to you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Monthly Incentives<\/strong>\n

          1. Monthly Media Arts Incentive:<\/strong>\n
              \n
            1. \"Arcade Day\" at the end of the month.\n
                \n
              1. January's Arcade Day is scheduled for 01\/18\/2024.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              2. Students remain eligible unless a Notice of Concern has been earned that month for grades or behavior, though a student who missed out from low grades can earn back their Arcade Day privileges if they bring their grade back up.\n

                2. Q2 Project 3<\/strong>\n

                    1. 12-13: Pre-Production Due<\/del><\/li>\n
                    2. 12-15:\u00a0 (Foulois Friday, CA time will not be spent in class.)<\/del><\/li>\n
                    3. 12-19:\u00a0 (All Major Day)<\/del><\/li>\n
                    4. 12-21: Arcade Day & Extra Work Day<\/del><\/li>\n
                    5. 01-03: Production Due<\/del><\/li>\n
                    6. 01-05: Post-Production Due (Hand in Project 3 today!)<\/del><\/li>\n
                    7. 01-09: \"Put Out Fires\" Day (Last day to hand in Project 3!)<\/del><\/li>\n
                    8. 01-11: Critique Day<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                    9. Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.<\/em>\n
                        \n
                      1. Projects\u00a0are<\/strong>\u00a0eligible for resubmission, but only once and with a limited window. These details are covered\u00a0in the syllabus<\/a>.<\/em><\/li>\n
                      2. The last project of any Quarter is almost always too close to the end of the grading window to be eligible for resubmission.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                      3. Critiques are a 30 point Assessment grade and are not eligible for resubmission or late submission.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                      4. Q2 Project 4<\/strong>\n
                          \n
                        1. Due to the extension of the Project 3 deadline, there will be NO Project 4 this Quarter. Make your Project 3 count!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                        2. Exit Ticket<\/strong>\n
                            \n
                          1. There are no Exit Tickets on Critique Days. Focus on getting at least 10 critiques handed in.<\/span>
