      1. This quiz is meant to reinforce gaps in student knowledge, based on the test from 11-17.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or resubmission.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

          1. \"Arcade Day\" at the end of the month.\n

            1. November's Arcade Day is scheduled for 11\/30\/2023.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Students remain eligible unless a Notice of Concern has been earned that month for grades or behavior, though a student who missed out from low grades can earn back their Arcade Day privileges if they bring their grade back up.\n

                                    1. \"I'm working on it at home\" is not an allowed reason to be off task in class.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                    2. Shot List<\/strong>\n
                                        \n
                                      1. If you need more than one day to record, you should be creating a shot list for each day.<\/li>\n
                                      2. This shot list template<\/a>\u00a0could be useful, but like storyboards and scripts, there's more than one way to do this.<\/li>\n
                                      3. You should make a shot list for each scene you're recording, using your storyboard as a guide.<\/li>\n
                                      4. Shooting things out of order is normal for a production, as it saves on travel time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                      5. Rough Cuts<\/strong>\n
                                          \n
                                        1. While this portion is called \"Production,\" a limited amount of post-production will have to be done to create your \"rough cut.\"<\/li>\n
                                        2. A rough cut has the scenes all in the correct order, but they are not expected to be finished. Transitions, on-screen text, and special effects might all be missing, depending on time.<\/li>\n
                                        3. ANY edit of a video that isn't the FINAL CUT is considered to be a rough cut, though some are more rough than others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                        4. Script Revisions<\/strong>\n
                                            \n
                                          1. Even major studios will revise scripts during production, as the director, producer, and even the cast think of improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                          2. Title Cards and Album Art<\/strong>\n
                                              \n
                                            1. Title Cards<\/strong>\n
                                                \n
                                              1. Should be 1280x720 pixels, which is the minimum HD resolution.<\/li>\n
                                              2. Should include the title.<\/li>\n
                                              3. Should include a graphic.<\/li>\n
                                              4. Can include motion (and should, if you have the time to add it).<\/li>\n
                                              5. Should look like it WASN'T slapped together at the last minute.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                              6. Album Art (for podcasts)<\/strong>\n
                                                  \n
                                                1. Should be 3000x3000 pixels.<\/li>\n
                                                2. Should include the podcast name and episode name. (These should be different but related names!)<\/li>\n
                                                3. Should include the Director's name. (That's you!)<\/li>\n
                                                4. Should have a graphic that relates to the podcast and episode.<\/li>\n

                                                    3. Feedback from the critiques is provided in the Canvas assignment for that project.<\/em><\/li>\n
                                                    4. Projects are<\/strong> eligible for resubmission, but only once. They must be resubmitted using the same form as before, and no later than 10 days after feedback has been shared with them in Canvas.<\/span><\/em>\n
                                                        \n
                                                      1. Film Fest Addendum:<\/strong> Because Entry 1<\/a> is needed to complete Entry 2<\/a>, and Entry 2<\/a> is needed to complete Entry 3<\/a>, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you QUICKLY make any suggested revisions and hand them in before starting the next project. To do otherwise will waste<\/span> your time, lower<\/span> your grades, and, worst of all<\/span>, lower the quality of your final project.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                                      2. Deadlines for future projects are not adjusted. Students are encouraged to not put off starting Project 2 because they've decided to work on redoing Project 3 from scratch.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
