      3. To prepare, look over your PROJECTS that have earned a C (14\/20, 28\/40, or 35\/50) or higher. Select your FIVE (5) favorite projects that qualify.\n

        1. NOT Homework assignments.<\/li>\n
        2. The Midterm counts, the initial and rough edits of the Midterm do not.<\/li>\n
        3. Projects completed for Ms. Hogue DO count.<\/li>\n
        4. If you do not have 5 projects that qualify, select the 5 that earned the highest scores.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        5. Storytelling\n
            \n
          1. A lot of heroes always make the \"right\" decision.<\/li>\n
          2. More believable characters sometimes make (very) \"wrong\" choices.<\/li>\n
          3. Your next project will be the creation of an interactive \"Choose Your Own Adventure\" style story.\n
              \n
            1. Begin by writing out a story where the character makes 5 decisions, ending in a positive outcome. Have each decision be its own paragraph.<\/li>\n
            2. Once you have the \"good\" ending, create two other \"bad\" choices the character could have made for each good choice. Write those up.<\/li>\n
            3. More will be explained on Wednesday.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

              1. As has been the case for a while now, if you want to film in class, you NEED to show me a storyboard that is ready to be approved. <\/strong>\n
                  \n
                1. \"It's all in my head\" = You didn't plan anything.<\/li>\n
                2. \"I left it at home\" = I didn't plan anything but don't want to admit it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                3. Project: Choose Your Own Adventure, due June 15th.\n

                  1. Student Rubric:<\/strong>
                    \n\u25ba Writing quality reflects the professional attention to detail expected from a Media Arts Major. (PROOFREAD!)
                    \n\u25ba Storyline requires the reader to make AT LEAST 5 correct decisions to get to the \"good\" ending.
                    \n\u25ba Each decision has AT LEAST 3 choices for the reader to make, with only one of them being \"correct.\"
                    \n\u25ba Each decision is preceded by at least one sentence describing the situation the character is in so that the reader can make INFORMED decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                  2. Homework: Due June 8th. *NEW DUE DATE!*<\/strong>\n

                    1. \u25ba Audio\/Video\/Pacing Quality reflects the student's time as a Media Arts Major. (THIS INCLUDES TITLE & CREDITS!)
                      \n\u25ba Video portrays the Media Arts Major in a positive way to a target audience of non-majors.
                      \n\u25ba Video includes self-reflective portions where the student addresses how they wish to be remembered.
                      \n\u25ba Video is 3-5 minutes in length.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                    2. Students claiming they have nothing to do will be asked to show completed storyboards for feedback and revision.\n
                        \n
                      1. \"It's at home\" will be taken to mean \"I didn't do it.\"<\/li>\n
