Sometimes the most interesting photographs are found in the things we usually overlook! October\u2019s theme, Hidden Details<\/strong>, challenges you to slow down, look closer, and discover the small details, textures, patterns, and shapes hiding in everyday life. From the veins of a fall leaf and the texture of tree bark to the details of a sneaker or patterns in architecture, there are great photographs waiting to be discovered everywhere.<\/p>\n

This month, experiment with close-up and macro-style photography<\/strong>. You don\u2019t need a special camera\u2014a smartphone works great! Move closer to your subject, pay attention to focus and lighting, and think about how filling the frame can turn an ordinary object into an extraordinary photograph.<\/p>\n
