  1. The last day for any late work is Friday, October 16th!<\/strong><\/span>\n

    1. All work not completed by then will remain a zero.<\/li>\n
    2. Any work assigned after then is due the same day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Students will record their prepared scripts to review the steps required to record and edit audio.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        9:45-9:55: Start of Class<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Students will enter and go to the front of the class, where Mr. Smith will walk them through the assignment for the day.<\/li>\n
        2. Students will find their assigned seats and be walked through the process for logging into the computers. (Students who were in Mr. Smith's room last year may remember how to do this, but reminders are good for everyone.)<\/li>\n
        3. The process concludes with students logging into their Canvas account<\/a>, which is where they will hand in work at the end of class.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          9:55-10:35: Instruction & Student Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Students will work on Audio 2 of the Audio Production Unit.\n
              \n
            1. Rubric, Objective, Standards, and links can be found here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
            2. Students may record their scripts using WeVideo<\/a> or Tenacity.\n
                \n
              1. Wevideo is suggested for use at home as it is entirely web based and will run on anything, though students might need to activate their \"Pro\" account<\/a>. (PGCPS Media Arts has paid for the Pro account, DO NOT spend your own money to upgrade.<\/span>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              2. After students have recorded and edited their scripts, they need to be exported as MP3 files and uploaded to their Canvas accounts.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                10:35-10:45: End of Class<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Students will upload their exported mp3 file to Canvas to hand it in.<\/li>\n
                2. Once completed, they will shut down their computer and help someone else with this process (if needed) before lining up to return to class.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  1. Parents: If you are reading this because your child was absent and they need to make up the work, look over Audio 2 here<\/a>. Note that we are ONLY<\/span> doing Audio 2 today (unless a student didn't finish Audio 1).<\/li>\n
                  2. Note the end date for late work in the Announcements above. If the Canvas assignment is not accepting work, your child missed the deadline to hand work in!<\/li>\n
