        1. The last day for any late work for Q4 is Thursday, June 4th!<\/strong><\/span>\n

          1. This provides 2 weeks at the end of the Quarter for Mr. Smith to grade late work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

                2. Bug<\/strong><\/span> - Part of a program that does not work correctly.<\/li>\n
                3. Debugging<\/strong><\/span> - Finding and fixing problems in an algorithm or program.<\/li>\n
                4. Click<\/strong> - Press the mouse button<\/li>\n
                5. Double-Click<\/strong> - Press the mouse button very quickly<\/li>\n
                6. Drag<\/strong> - Click your mouse button and hold as you move the mouse pointer to a new location<\/li>\n
                7. Drop<\/strong> - Release your mouse button to \"let go\" of an item that you are dragging<\/li>\n
                8. Program<\/strong><\/span> - An algorithm that has been coded into something that can be run by a machine.<\/li>\n
                9. Programming<\/strong><\/span> - The art of creating a program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                10. We will begin by using Clever to log into Code.org.<\/a>\n

                  1. Only Code.org logins done through Clever will show the work that has been assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                  2. Students are responsible for EVERY lesson they can see in Course B, though if they are caught up only Lesson 5 will have work to complete.\n

                    1. Level 1<\/strong> is a video that does not relate to how we do things in this classroom, so we will not be watching it<\/span>.<\/li>\n
                    2. Levels 2-5<\/strong> are meant to build new skills.<\/li>\n
                    3. Level 6<\/strong> is a video that students will watch on their own.<\/li>\n
                    4. Levels 7-8<\/strong> are additional skill building levels.<\/li>\n
                    5. Level 9<\/strong> is a CHALLENGE<\/span> Level and therefore is extra credit<\/span>.<\/li>\n
                    6. Levels 10-12<\/strong> are Practice Levels to review what has been learned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                    7. Grading Rubric:<\/strong>\n

                      1. Students earn 1 point for each level turned BRIGHT GREEN<\/span> by completing it.<\/li>\n
                      2. Pale green Levels are incomplete and therefore not counted.<\/li>\n
                      3. CHALLENGE<\/span> Levels are counted as Extra Credit<\/span>.<\/li>\n
                      4. FREE PLAY<\/span> Levels are rewards for completing the work and are not graded<\/span>.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
