      1. The last day for any late work for Q4 is Thursday, June 4th!<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n

        1. This provides 2 weeks at the end of the Quarter for Mr. Smith to grade late work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Previous Lessons<\/strong>: Lesson 3<\/a>, Tux Typing 1<\/a>, Lesson 4<\/a>, Tux Math 1<\/a>, Lesson 6, Lesson 7, Lesson 8, Lesson 9, Lesson 10, Luanti Circles<\/li>\n
        3. Today's Lesson: Intro to Micro:Bit<\/strong>\n

          1. Today's lesson begins by visiting Microsoft's MakeCode page.\n
              \n
            1. You will want to log into Clever FIRST<\/a>\u00a0so the code you create will stay with your account.<\/li>\n
            2. Once you're in Clever, come back here and use this link to visit the MakeCode page for the micro:bit<\/a>, click the \"Sign In\" button on the top right, and pick \"Clever.\"<\/li>\n
            3. There will be a number of activities available on this page. Pick one of the tutorials and follow their directions.\n
                \n
              1. Each tutorial has a virtual micro:bit for testing your code, so you can see if it's working even before we move it to an actual micro:bit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              2. When you've completed the tutorial, look at your code.\n
                  \n
                1. What can you change to make it more interesting to you?<\/li>\n
                2. Did the changes work? If not, put things back.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                3. When you're ready, Mr. Smith will show you how to move your code to a micro:bit to try it out.<\/li>\n
                4. If you are absent, do what you can outside of class. We can check your work when you return, but you will NOT have time to work on this AND your next lesson at the same time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

                  5 Pts<\/td>\nMicro:bit hardware runs customized code made by the student.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
                  4 Pts<\/td>\nMicro:bit hardware runs tutorial code OR Micro:bit website runs customized code.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
                  3 Pts<\/td>\nBugs prevent the code from running, but there is an obvious attempt.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
                  0 Pts<\/td>\nAn attempt was not made.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n
