THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY! (It's for a different class but covers the same content.)

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will finish editing their videos to see how planning makes a task easier.
  2. Announcements:
    1. The last day for any late work WAS Monday, January 12th!
      1. Missing assignments posted before the 12th will remain zeroes, as enough time was given to complete them.
      2. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter and is far more lenient than PGCPS policy.
      3. Work owed from unexcused absences will still not be accepted.
      4. Between January 12th and the last day of the Quarter, PGCPS policy will be followed.
  3. Previous Lessons: Audio 1, Audio 2, Audio 3, Field Trip Storyboard, Audio 4, Audio 5, Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, Video 3.5, Video 4, Video 5, Video 6
  4. Today's Lesson: Video 5: Cut Conversation Edit (2 of 2)
    1. Grading Rubric:
4 Pts Video is easy to see and audio is easy to hear.
3 Pts Video has one character tell a joke to another character, and shows the other character's reaction.
3 Pts Video has a title and credits.
      1. Today, we are going to continue using WeVideo.
      2. You will need to find the video project in WeVideo that you made during our last class.
      3. These video tutorials can help if you're stuck on a certain part. Mr. Smith will show how to do this in class.
        1. WeVideo - Recording (2:39)
        2. WeVideo - Cuts (1:56)
        3. WeVideo - Export (5:45)
      4. Follow Mr. Smith's directions for adding a title at the beginning and credits at the end.
        1. Even if you're the only person who worked on it, YOUR NAME should be in the credits!
      5. When your video is complete, you should click the "Download" button underneath it to get a file you can hand in.
      6. You will be handing in this downloaded file for Video 5.
    2. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
