NO VIDEO TODAY (I've been typing too much with this hand again.)

1. Objective:
   1. Students will complete their recordings for their last full project of the Quarter.
2. Warm-Up: 2026-01-12: Darnall's Chance Check-in
   1. Check in with your team leads and share your progress since our previous class.
      1. TEAM LEADS: Let Mr. Smith know if you are unhappy with a team member's progress.
   2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.
3. Announcements:
   1. January's Arcade Day is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th.
      1. You will need to have a 70% OR HIGHER in this class to be eligible.
      2. This does not change any deadlines.
      3. This will also be a T-Shirt Printing Day.
   2. NPR Student Podcast Challenge for 2026
      1. The 2026 edition of the Student Podcast Challenge will open on Jan. 5 and close on June 5. But if you'd like to be considered for their special America 250 prize, the deadline is May 1.

  7. Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.
  8. Feedback from the critiques is provided in the Canvas assignment for that project.
  9. Projects are eligible for re-submission, but only once. They must be resubmitted using the same form as before, and no later than 10 days after feedback has been shared with them in Canvas. The 4th project of each Quarter is not eligible for re-submission due to its proximity to the end of the Quarter!
     
  10. Deadlines for future projects are not adjusted. Students are encouraged to not put off starting Project 4 because they've decided to work on redoing Project 3 from scratch.
