- Today's Lesson: Storyboarding
As I told you in class on Monday, I'm out this morning for a field trip with my majors. The work for today is NOT busy work, I expect you to show off your storytelling skills.
- Use the provided storyboards to plan out a story that includes a BEGINNING, MIDDLE, and END. It should have a TITLE at the beginning and CREDITS at the end, but no other text should be in the drawing portion of the storyboards. (Anything said should be in the space below the drawing!)
- Select one of the following plots for your story:
- A photographer searching the world for the best place to take photos,
- A Superhero defeating the Homework Eater, a monster that eats homework before students can hand it in, or Someone building the best amusement park ever.
- If your story doesn’t use up both sides of the storyboard paper, you haven’t included enough action. You are allowed to use more than one paper if you need it.
- Remember, storyboards are for PLANNING! That means you’re allowed to use stick figures!”
- Rubric:
- 3 pts: Story has a beginning, middle, and end.
- 2 pts: Story is one of the 3 plots listed in the directions.
- 2 pts: Story has a title and credits.
- 3 pts: Story uses AT LEAST 18 panels of action. Stick figures are OK!
- This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
