Session 6 Recap

Characters:

• Xytar, the Risk-Taking Dragon Warrior Who Looks for Trouble
• Hyoto, the Charming Chimera Hermit Crab Explorer who Talks to Machines
• Finthetic Eian, the Artificial Intelligence Empathetic Adept who Looks for Trouble
• Uravity the Creative Felis Adept who Travels Through Time

Plot:

Before the session began, players took turns with a dramatic reading of Finthetic's tragic backstory.

The party began combat with a crab monster that was adapted to living in dark environments, making it blind but also able to detect prey using echolocation.

Uravity used a Cypher that deafened the crab, and Finthetic erased the crab's recent memories. With it unable to detect anyone or remember that anyone had been there, it was not much of a challenge for Xytar to prepare a cooked crab meal.

There was some discussion about what to do next, and Xytar somehow (involving a natural 1) managed to choke on crab meat while running, barrelling through the door at the end of the hallway, leading to him falling down several flights of stairs.

The session ended with Uravity jumping down after Xytar.

Session 7 - Cypher System

Character Options

Some players may choose to spend 4 XP to increase certain character abilities before we get into the plot.

Gameplay

Uravity's ability to see the future has led to them knowing somewhere down here is a crab monster matriarch sitting upon a mountain of eggs. If they all hatched, the crabs would likely break through to the surface and endanger the rat folk of the upper decks.

What happens next is up to the players.
