THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY! (It's for a different class but covers the same content.)

  2. Announcements:
    1. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Monday, January 12th!
      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter and is far more lenient than PGCPS policy.
      2. Work owed from unexcused absences will still not be accepted.
      3. Between January 12th and the last day of the Quarter, PGCPS policy will be followed.
  3. Previous Lessons: Audio 1, Audio 2, Audio 3, Field Trip Storyboard, Audio 4, Audio 5, Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, Video 4, Video 5, Video 6
  4. Today's Quiz: Audio Quiz 2

  5. Today's Lesson: Video 3: Cut Conversation Record
    1. Today, Mr. Smith is going to have you taking turns to record what you planned in your storyboard.
      1. (If you are doing this from home, you can use WeVideo. This video shows how to record in WeVideo.)
    2. You will need to record your script OUT OF ORDER!
        1. Record all of Character 1's lines first, then all of Character 2's lines.
        2. This will save time with switching between characters and camera angles.
        3. Recording 1
        4. Recording 2
    3. Watch your recording!
      1. What went well?
      2. What could you do better?
    4. Make a second set of recordings, then compare the two sets.
      1. Keep the better set of recordings and delete the other one.
    5. Use the text box in Canvas to share something you noticed when recording today.
    6. Your videos will be placed in THIS FOLDER (Note: If you are recording from home your videos will not be placed in this folder.)
  • This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
