2nd Grade, Manning, 04-08 – Music: Song Maker

THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY! (This is for a 1st grade class but the techniques covered are the same even if the expectations are higher.)

   1. Students will use Chrome Music Lab to build on previous skills and make more complex music.

   1. The last day for any late work was Friday, March 13th!
      1. PGCPS policy for Lawful Absences will be followed. All other work is now due the day it is assigned.

   1. Today's lesson is about making more complex songs using both percussion and melody.
   2. Students who are absent today should use the link above to make a song, then have a parent send a picture of it to Mr. Smith via ClassDojo.
   3. Grading Rubric:
      

      5 Points	Student created music using the designated website.
      4 Points	Student logged into the computer with minimal assistance.
      3 Points	Student was able to log into the computer with some assistance from Mr. Smith.
      0 Points	Student attempted to log in. Keep at it, you'll get there soon!

   4. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. There are no extended deadlines for the remainder of this Quarter!
