THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE EXPECTATIONS FOR THE DAY!

Regardless of the lesson, FouloisTech.info should be your destination every time you come into class. This space will be used to provide announcements, lessons, and other resources.

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will be able to:
      • Identify the parts of a computer.
      • Understand what makes a computer run.
  2. Announcements:
    1. The last day for any late work is Friday, March 13th!
      1. All work not completed by then will remain a zero.
      2. Any work assigned after then is due the same day.
  3. Previous Lessons: 02-09 – Intro to Media Arts
  4. Today's Lesson: Pre-Keyboarding
    1. We will begin by using Clever to log into Typing.com.
      1. Only Typing.com logins done through Clever will show the work that has been assigned.
      2. Students may be asked to select a class. The one with "Aaron Smith" as the teacher is the correct one.
    2. Students are only responsible for the Pre-Keyboarding activities today, though if they finish early they will be encouraged to use a drawing website to make some art.
    3. The Pre-Keyboarding activities are split into 4 sections:
      1. Introduction to Typing
      2. Using a Mouse or Trackpad
      3. Parts of a Computer
      4. What Makes a Computer Run
    4. Grading Rubric:
5 Points Student logged into the computer and worked on the Pre-Keyboarding lessons in Typing.com
4 Points Student persisted attempting to log in. We're proud of you for trying!
3 Points Student inconsistently attempted to log in. Keep at it, you'll get there soon!
0 Points Student was absent or made no attempt to log into the computer.
  5. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class so it doesn't need to be made up later!
