Please forgive the brevity of this lesson as I recover from carpal tunnel. This video was made for a different class but the content remains the same.
- Objective:
- Students will record videos based on their storyboards to understand the techniques behind "movie magic."
- Announcements:
- No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Monday, January 12th!
- This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter and is far more lenient than PGCPS policy.
- Work owed from unexcused absences will still not be accepted.
- Between January 12th and the last day of the Quarter, PGCPS policy will be followed.

- Today's Lesson: Video 3: Magic Trick Record
- Today, Mr. Smith is going to have you taking turns to record what you planned in your storyboard.
- (If you are doing this from home, you can use WeVideo. (This video shows how to record in WeVideo.)
- Use the actions you planned out in your storyboard as your guide! (Otherwise, why make a storyboard?)
- Watch your recording!
- What went well?
- What could you do better?
- Make a second set of recording (if time allows), then compare the two sets.
- Keep the better set of recordings and delete the other one.
- Use the text box in Canvas to share something you noticed when recording today.
- This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
