Our 1st semester will focus on media creation, while or 2nd semester will focus more on coding.

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will attempt to use the voxel tools to create a sphere, demonstrating an understanding of the shortcuts taken to create the illusion of round objects using pixels.
  2. Announcements:
    1. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, October 16th!
      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.

    1. Today's lesson is about using voxels (Volumetric Pixels) to create a sphere.
    2. Any time the A-B-C-Day schedule allows us to meet twice in the same week, the 2nd meeting's work will count as an Assessment grade.
    3. Students who are absent today should use the linked website, following the directions in the video at the top of this post, then have a parent send it to Mr. Smith via ClassDojo.
    4. Grading Rubric:
      5 Points Student logged into the computer with minimal assistance, was able to create the assigned project.
      4 Points Student was able to log into the computer with some assistance from Mr. Smith.
      3 Points Student attempted to log in. Keep at it, you'll get there soon!
      0 Points Student was absent or made no attempt to log into the computer.
    5. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
