Hello everyone, last week we got started on this current video project where students have been asked to create an intro video for the members in their groups (which were partially assigned by me based on group leader with group leaders picking who they want to work with). We started recording last week, with only one group managing to get clips due to the shorten time and people refusing to take advantage of the time to do so in the classroom (not everyone will have the time to work in the hallway so some groups may have to adjust their planning). We will be using both 9/16 and 9/18 to complete these videos and submit them by the end of class on the 18th. Here's the specifications below:
a) The audience learns your first name, a fun fact about you, and a goal you have set for yourself this year. This is meant for each person in the group.
b) There is background music and at least 2 sound effects used.
c) All group members names should appear on the screen twice, once during the introduction and again during the credits.
d) I want to see at least 5 different camera shots not including credits. An immersive video uses multiple shots in sequence.
e) The video should be between 1-3 minutes long including the credits.
These specifications will be used to determine the grade of the group, and I only need one submission per group. With my 8th graders as leaders for this project, I anticipate this video should be completed by the deadline for all groups.
