  1. Objective:
    1. Students will use the tools in Sketchpad to tell a specific story.
  2. Announcements:
    1. No late work for this Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, October 16th!
      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.
  1. Today's Lesson: Quiz 2: Graphics
    1. Today's lesson is shifting focus towards digital storytelling.
      1. Our first time doing this, students were allowed to make any story they wanted.
      2. Today, the assignment is to make a story of the student's trip to the moon.
      3. As this is the 2nd class of the week, today's grade will be counted as an assessment grade.
    2. Students who are absent today should use Sketchpad to tell a story, then have a parent send it to Mr. Smith via ClassDojo.
    3. Grading Rubric:
      5 Points Student logged into the computer with minimal assistance, was able to attempt creating an image that tells a story in Sketchpad.
      4 Points Student was able to log into the computer with some assistance from Mr. Smith.
      3 Points Student attempted to log in. Keep at it, you'll get there soon!
      0 Points Student was absent or made no attempt to log into the computer.
    4. This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
