Tech Concepts Q4, 05-01-2025

THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS TODAY'S EXPECTATIONS!

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will complete their pre-production work to showcase their skills and interests.
  2. Warm-Up:
    1. Warm-Up 2025-05-01: Grade Check
      1. Check your grades in Synergy. Are you where you want to be? How can you improve and/or maintain a good average?
      2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.
  3. Announcements

  12. Week 3 Exit Ticket
    1. 6th Grade
    2. 7th Grade
    3. Every Exit Ticket will be due during the last 10 minutes of the last B Day of the week. It will ask the same two questions:
      1. What did you accomplish in Media Arts (Technology Concepts) this week?
      2. What did you learn in Media Arts (Technology Concepts) this week?
    4. Exit Tickets will almost always be submitted through Canvas.
    5. Students are expected to have meaningful answers for both questions. An answer of "I didn't learn anything" might be honest, but it implies that off-task behavior took place.
    6. Proofreading answers is an important part of any written assignment, and grades will reflect a failure to do so.
    7. Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or re-submission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of the last class of the week.
