THIS VIDEO GOES OVER THE EXPECTATIONS FOR TODAY!
Our 2nd semester will focus more on coding than media creation, though we will have other lessons sprinkled in.
Regardless of the lesson, FouloisTech.info should be your destination every time you come into class. This space will be used to provide announcements, lessons, and other resources.
- Objective:
-
Students will be able to:
- Demonstrate what they've previously learned during our coding unit.
- Announcements:
- The last day for late work is Thursday, March 20th!
- This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of the Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.
- For the last 2 weeks of the Quarter, all assignments must be handed in on the day they're assigned unless there is an excused absence on file.
- Previous Lessons: Lesson 3, Lesson 4, Lesson 5 & Quiz 1, Lesson 6, Lesson 7, Lesson 8, Game Storyboard, Lesson 9, Lesson 12, Lesson 13, Lesson 14
- The last day for late work is Thursday, March 20th!
- Today's Lesson: Code.org Wrap-Up
- Vocabulary:
- IF YOU HAVE NOT YET COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LESSONS, DO THOSE FIRST! These instructions assume you've completed them!
- Today's in-class work (after the quiz) will be done using Luanti. Mr. Smith will help you get set up if you aren't already.
- Today's lesson will begin in a flat world with Creative Mode enabled.
- Each of you will need to claim a space for future activities that is 10 blocks wide and 10 blocks long.
- Use any block to build your "stage." Make sure it is not so close to another student that your stages touch or overlap!
- With your stage built, complete the "impossible task" of creating a circle on your stage. ("Impossible" because a circle cannot be made out of squares, but do your best to get as close as you can.)

- This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work.
