THIS VIDEO REVIEWS THE MOST IMPORTANT CONTENT COVERED IN CLASS TODAY!

  1. Objective:
    1. Students will learn how to add images and more formatting code to better customize their websites.
  2. Warm-Up:
    1. Put the following things in your notes (That Google Doc you shared with Mr. Smith). Remember, all quizzes are open notes!
      1. HTML Code
      2. CSS Code
      3. Once you have done this, log into Canvas. If you have not yet completed your Lesson 5 Mini-Project, you should also log into Code.org to wrap that up.
    2. Warm-Ups are usually a 10 point weekly Independent Work Notebook Check grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.

        1. Grading Rubric:
          1. 6 pts: Screenshots uploaded showing code on one side and how the code looks in a web browser on the other side.
          2. 1 pt: Webpage uses style.css to have a background color other than white with minimal errors.
          3. 1 pt: Webpage uses style.css to have all the text be a color other than the default with minimal errors.
          4. 1 pt: Webpage uses style.css to have all images go to the right of the page with minimal errors.
          5. 1 pt: Webpage's images are properly named, HTML code includes alt tags with minimal errors.
          6. -10 pts: Any screenshot includes an image that was not used with permission. (A missing citation = a missing grade.)

      1. Example: "I completed Unit 2 Lesson 1" says nothing about what you did or learned. Describe what you did and what you learned as if to someone who does not have access to the course materials.
    4. Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or re-submission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of the last class of the week.
