- 2024-05-07 Warm-Up: Video Interpretation
- Directions: Watch the short video, then answer the questions in the rubric.
- Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.

- Rubric:
- 25% Video spends 1-1.5 minutes each showcasing 3 projects submitted by the student for a grade in this course this school year.
- No video project may be longer than 5 minutes. If you are adding a title and credits (as you should...), your video will be over 3 minutes long even if doing the bare minimum.
- 25% Video includes what the student learned while working on each project being showcased.
- (If there is a project where nothing was learned, then a different project should be selected to be showcased.)
- 25% Video includes what the student would do differently if attempting a similar project.
- (If the answer is "nothing," this is an admission that the student would hand in the same work twice, expecting two grades. Such a statement is not likely to earn credit.)
- 25% Citations for all content not owned by the student are included in the credits, including the media name, creator's name (if known), and where the media is from.
- (Remember, Pintrest and TikTok don't give permission for reuse elsewhere. Google is a search engine, not a source to be cited.)

- Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.
- Feedback from the critiques is provided in the Canvas assignment for that project.
- Projects are eligible for re-submission, but only once. They must be resubmitted using the same form as before, and no later than 10 days after feedback has been shared with them in Canvas.
- Deadlines for future projects are not adjusted. Students are encouraged to not put off starting Project 4 because they've decided to work on redoing Project 3 from scratch.
- Exit Ticket
- 2024-05-06 to 2024-05-10 Exit Ticket
-
4 pts Proofread your work. 3 pts What did you accomplish in Media Arts this week? 3 pts What did you learn in Media Arts this week? - NOTE: If you do not describe WHAT you did while working on your project, saying you worked on it is not enough information to earn credit.
-
- Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or re-submission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of the last class of the week.
