Today's to-do list includes the following items:

  1. Warm-Up:
    1. 2024-05-06 Warm-Up Quiz: Critiques 2
      1. Every line of positive and constructive feedback on this quiz was written during Thursday's Critique Day. If you see a line more than once, it's because it was written more than once.
      2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or re-submission.
  2. Monthly Incentives
    1. Monthly Media Arts Incentive:
      1. "Arcade Day" at the end of the month.
        1. May's Arcade Day is scheduled for 05/30/2024.
      2. Students remain eligible unless a Notice of Concern has been earned that month for grades or behavior, though a student who missed out from low grades can earn back their Arcade Day privileges if they bring their grade back up.
        1. Check SchoolMax - if your avg is 70% or above, you're probably eligible.
  3. Q4 Project 2: Student Choice, Re-Submits Due by 05-13!
  4. Q4 Project 3: Student Choice, Due 05-17
    1. 05-06: Pre-Production Due
    2. 05-08: ALL MAJOR DAY (Prep for Band & Orchestra Spring Concert)
    3. 05-10: Production Due
    4. 05-14: Primary Election - Schools Closed
    5. 05-15: Post-Production Due (Hand in what you have today!)
    6. 05-17: "Put Out Fires" Day (Hand in what you have today!)
    7. 05-21: Critique Day
    8. Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.
      1. Projects are eligible for re-submission, but only once and with a limited window. These details are covered in the syllabus.
    9. Critiques are a 30 point Assessment grade and are not eligible for re-submission or late submission.
  5. Q4 Project 4: Student Choice, Due 05-31
    1. 05-23: Pre-Production

    3. 05-30: Post-Production & Arcade Day (Hand in what you have today!)
    4. 06-03: Critique Day
    5. Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.

    2. Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or re-submission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of the last class of the week.
