THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS TODAY'S EXPECTATIONS! (114 days until the 1st day of next school year!)
Today's Agenda:
- Announcements:
- No late work for 4th Quarter will be accepted after Friday, May 31st!
- This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of 4th Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.
- Lesson 2 was due on 4/2. Lesson 3 was due on 4/5. Lesson 4 was due on 4/11. Lesson 5 was due on 4/16. Lesson 7 was due on 4/19. Lesson 8 was due on 4/24. Lesson 9 was due on 4/29.
- No late work for 4th Quarter will be accepted after Friday, May 31st!
- Today's Lesson: Code.org Make-Up Day
- Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org, which you should log into through Clever.
- There is a known bug where sometimes it will log you in through Google instead.
- You'll know this has happened because you won't see our class (51-Elem Media Arts 2023-2024) listed near the bottom of your Code.org Dashboard.
- If this happens, I cannot track your progress and you'll get a zero for the lesson.
- To fix this, log out of Code.org and log back in through Clever.
- Remember to not start today's lesson until all previous lessons have been completed! Each lesson builds up the skills needed for the next one.
- Today's work comes in two parts:
- Complete any levels in Code.org that are not yet done.
- For this lesson, no new lessons have been unlocked. If you were caught up at the end of our last class, you're still caught up.
- If (and only if) you can show Mr. Smith that you have done this, he will have a fun activity for you to try out.
- Complete any levels in Code.org that are not yet done.
- All assignments this Quarter are IN CLASS work, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work.
- Anything not done in class can be completed outside of class, but at that point it is past due MAKE-UP work!
- Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org, which you should log into through Clever.
