Today's Agenda:

  1. Announcements:
    1. No late work for 4th Quarter will be accepted after Friday, May 31st!
      1. This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of 4th Quarter. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.
      2. Lesson 3 was due on 4/4. Lesson 4 was due on 4/9. Lesson 5 was due on 4/15. Lesson 6 was due on 4/18. Lesson 7 was due on 4/23.
  2. Today's Lesson: Code.org Lesson 8: Mini-Project: Design a Snowflake

    1. Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org, which you should log into through Clever.
      1. There is a known bug where sometimes it will log you in through Google instead.
      2. You'll know this has happened because you won't see our class (41-Elem Media Arts (2023-2024)) listed near the bottom of your Code.org Dashboard.
      3. If this happens, I cannot track your progress and you'll get a zero for the lesson.
      4. To fix this, log out of Code.org and log back in through Clever.
      1. As a Mini-Project, this will be graded as a 9 point assessment. Do your best!
      2. This lesson requires NO NEW CODING SKILLS. Everything required was taught in a previous lesson this Quarter.
    2. All assignments this Quarter are IN CLASS work, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work.
      1. Anything not done in class can be completed outside of class, but at that point it is past due MAKE-UP work!
