THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS TODAY'S EXPECTATIONS!
Today's Agenda:
- Announcements:
- No late work for 3rd Quarter will be accepted after Thursday, March 21st!
- This deadline is 2 weeks before the end of 3rd Quarter and just before Spring Break. That time is needed to ensure all late work handed in before then is graded in a timely fashion.
- Lesson 2 was due 1/23. Lesson 3 was due 1/26. Lesson 4 was due 1/31. Lesson 5 was due 2/05. Lesson 7 was due on 2/08. Lesson 8 was due 2/16. Lesson 9 was due on 2/22.

- Today's Lesson: Code.org Lesson 10: Counting with Variables
- Today's lesson will be completed in Code.org, which you should log into through Clever.
- There is a known bug where sometimes it will log you in through Google instead.
- You'll know this has happened because you won't see our class (53-Elem Media Arts 2023-2024) listed near the bottom of your Code.org Dashboard.
- If this happens, I cannot track your progress and you'll get a zero for the lesson.
- To fix this, log out of Code.org and log back in through Clever.
- This lesson has eleven (11) Levels. (I will frequently call them "Bubbles" as that's what I've been calling them with my younger students.)
- The first two are "Prediction" Levels, where you are shown code and asked to guess what it does before running the code.
- Levels 3-5 are skill building exercises where you will learn how to modify number variables.
- Level 6 is a demo that shows the code in action.
- Levels 7-11 are a linked Mini-Project (meaning you should NOT delete code or you have to start over at Level 7) where you demonstrate what you've learned.

- This is an IN-CLASS assignment, NOT HOMEWORK. Please stay on task to complete this work by the end of class!
- (There is nothing to complete in Canvas, I will be checking your work via Code.org.)
