Announcements

    1. All previous assignments are past due, and the window for make-up work closed on Friday, January 5th.
    2. Any late work handed in between now and the end of the Quarter will need to be for excused absences, and not be later than the number of days missed (as dictated by PGCPS policy).

Today's Lesson:

    1. Typing 1: Getting Started
    2. You have two possible lesson paths to take today. Pick one of them.
      1. Use this link to join Typing.com (LOG IN WITH CLEVER!)
        1. Typing.com is good for beginners and slowly ramps up the difficulty.
      2. Use this link to log into NitroType (LOG IN WITH CLEVER!)
        1. NitroType immediately has you compete vs. other people and can be intimidating when you first use it.
    3. Whichever you pick, do one activity in it before moving on to the next step.
      1. In Typing.com, that means do one (1) lesson.
      2. In NitroType, that means participate in one (1) race.
    4. At the end of the activity, use the reply button in Canvas to share something you liked about the game you chose and what they could do to make it better.
    5. Once you have replied, return to your chosen typing activity.
