  2. Today's Lesson:
    1. Video 4: Cut Conversation Edit (1 of 2)
    2. NOTE: You are NOT expected to hand in a finished, edited video today! The editing has intentionally been split into two parts.
    3. Grading Rubric: (Note: This is the rubric for what you're handing in NEXT CLASS. Do not hand in a video today.)
      4 Points Video is easy to see and audio is easy to hear.
      3 Points Video has one character tell a joke to another character, and shows the other character's reaction.
      3 Points Video has a title and credits.
      1. Today, we are going to continue using WeVideo.
          1. You will need your storyboard from Video 2 and your recording from Video 3.
          2. These video tutorials can help if you're stuck on a certain part:
            1. WeVideo - Recording (2:39)
            2. WeVideo - Cuts (1:56)
            3. WeVideo - Export (5:45)
        1. PART 1: (This is what we're doing today.)
          1. Watch your recording!
            1. The easiest way to record it was out of order, but now we need to put it in order so it makes sense!
          2. Follow Mr. Smith's directions for moving the playhead to where you want to make cuts.
          3. Move the clips so they're in the right order!
          4. Delete any fragments or flubs that don't belong in your finished video!
          5. Watch your edit so far!
            1. Are you happy with it?
            2. Is there anything you'd like to change?
          6. Use the text box in Canvas and share something you noticed when using WeVideo today.
            1. Proofread your sentences and press the button to hand them in.
            2. You will only have two attempts to hand this in. If your first attempt does not earn a 5/5 you will receive feedback on how to improve it.
              • No attempts will be accepted after 01-05-2024 (2 weeks before the end of 2nd Quarter), so that there is time to grade all work before the Report Card window closes.
        2. PART 2: (This is what we're doing next class.)
          1. Follow Mr. Smith's directions for adding a title at the beginning and credits at the end.
            1. Even if you're the only person who worked on it, YOUR NAME should be in the credits!
          2. When your video is complete, you should click the "Download" button underneath it to get a file you can hand in.
            1. You will be handing in this downloaded file for Video 5.
    4. You will only have two attempts to hand this in. If your first attempt does not earn a 5/5 you will receive feedback on how to improve it.
