  1. Warm-Up: 
    1. Make a copy of this document. It will be your classwork for today.
    2. Warm-Ups are usually a 5 point Independent Work grade if a written response is expected, or a 5 point Assessment grade if the Warm-Up is a quiz. They are due at the start of class and not eligible for late submission or resubmission.
  2. Monthly Incentives
    1. Monthly Media Arts Incentive:
      1. "Arcade Day" at the end of the month.
        1. October's Arcade Day is scheduled for 10/31/2023.
      2. Students remain eligible unless a Notice of Concern has been earned that month for grades or behavior, though a student who missed out from low grades can earn back their Arcade Day privileges if they bring their grade back up.
        1. Check SchoolMax - if your avg is 70% or above, you're probably eligible.
  3. Q1 Project 3
    1. Resubmissions are due 10-21!
  4. Q1 Project 4
    1. Due 10-20
      1. 10-12: Pre-Production
      2. 10-16: Production
      3. 10-18: Post-Production
      4. 10-19 (All Majors Day): "Put Out Fires" Day, &/or "Pre-Critique Critique Day"
        1. THE SCHEDULE WILL BE DIFFERENT!
          1. MS Creative Arts will be from 1:35-3:35.
        2. We will be watching a "tech rehearsal" of the Intermediate Arts Night, an event where every major will be showcased.
        3. Our contribution will be a video that has already been completed.
        4. BRING YOUR (charged) CHROMEBOOK! During the rehearsal, you will be asked to take notes on the processes and workflow. These notes WILL be graded.
          1. (If you do not bring your ChromeBook I will have paper copies of the questions you are expected to answer.)
        5. I'm told the rehearsal is expected to last one hour. After the rehearsal, we will return to the classroom. Ideally you'll have already handed in Project 4, though.
      5. 10-23: Critique Day
    2. Student Choice (Do not choose any Core project!)
    3. Projects are 100 point Classwork grades, and are not eligible for late submission.
    4. Feedback from the critiques is provided in the Canvas assignment linked above.
    5. This project is due too close to the end of the Quarter to be eligible for resubmission! You have one shot, make it count!
  5. Q2 Project 1
    1. Due 11/17
    2. Festival Entry 1: Pre-Production
  6. Exit Ticket
    1. Today's Exit Ticket is built into the work shared above. Use this link to hand it in.
    2. Exit Tickets are always 10 point Classwork grades and not eligible for late submission or resubmission. They are due during the last 10 minutes of class.
