THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS TODAY'S EXPECTATIONS!

  1. Announcements
    1. Audio Lesson 1, Audio Lesson 2, Audio Lesson 3, Audio Lesson 4 and Audio Lesson 5 are now PAST DUE.
    2. Video Lesson 1 and Video Lesson 2 are now PAST DUE.
    3. You get two attempts per project, but if nothing's there when I grade it THAT COUNTS as the first attempt!
    4. NO late work will be accepted after October 19th. (2 weeks before the end of the Quarter.) To allow late work later than that would not give me time to grade it.
  2. Today's Lesson: Video 3: Cut Conversation Record
    1. Today, Mr. Smith is going to show you how to access WeVideo.
      1. (You will need a code for the "Pro" version. Mr. Smith shared it with you for the Audio 2 lesson.)
    2. Use WeVideo to record your magic trick, based on your storyboard and script.
      1. (If you're checking these directions after class, this video from a previous year goes into more detail.)
      2. You will need to record your script OUT OF ORDER!
        1. Record all of Character A's lines first, then all of Character B's lines.
        2. This will save time with switching between characters and camera angles.

    3. Watch your recording!
      1. What went well?
      2. What could you do better?
    4. Make a second recording, then compare the two.
      1. Keep the better recording and delete the other one.
    5. Click the "Reply" button in Canvas and share something you noticed when using WeVideo today.
      1. Proofread your sentences and press the button to hand them in. 
    6. You will only have two attempts to hand this in. If your first attempt does not earn a 10/10 you will receive feedback on how to improve it.
