Today's to-do list includes the following items:

  1. Warm-Up: 
    1. Grade 6 (P4A)
    2. Grades 7&8 (P3A)
  2. Monthly Incentives
    1. Arts Department Incentive:
      1. Art Bucks are handed out to acknowledge good choices.
      2. Cutoff date to earn 30 Art Bucks is Wednesday, March 22nd.
      3. Incentive Day is Friday, March 24th.
    2. Monthly Media Arts Incentive:
      1. 30 minute "Arcade Day" at the end of the month.
        1. February's Arcade Day is scheduled for 02/27/2023.
      2. Remain eligible unless a Notice of Concern has been earned.
        1. Check SchoolMax - if your avg is 70% or above, you're probably eligible.
    3. Picture Day
      1. May 12
        1. Class Group Picture
        2. 8th Grade Panoramic
        3. Spring Individual for Purchase Only (Not YB)
  3. Q3 Project 2
    1. Resubmissions are due by Saturday, March 4th.
  4. Q3 Project 3
    1. Due Friday, March 3rd!
    2. Can be any non-core project you have not already completed, OR the Q3 Core project.
      1. The Copyright and Creative Commons project is the required Core assignment for 3rd Quarter.
      2. Can only be the "Build Your Own Rubric" project if your rubric is approved BEFORE Critique Day of the previous project.
    3. IF YOUR PROJECT ISN'T ON THE LIST, YOU ARE WORKING TOWARDS A ZERO!
    4. Suggested timeline:
      1. Complete planning/pre-production by February 23th.
      2. Complete recording/production by February 27th. (NOTE: THIS IS OUR ARCADE INCENTIVE DAY!)
      3. Complete editing/post-production by March 1st.
      4. Submit project and planning documents by March 3rd.
  5. Q3 Project 4
    1. Due Friday, March 17th!
    2. Can be any non-core project you have not already completed, OR the Q3 Core project.
      1. The Copyright and Creative Commons project is the required Core assignment for 3rd Quarter. If you didn't hand it in for Projects 1, 2, or 3, this is your only option for Project 4.
      2. Can only be the "Build Your Own Rubric" project if your rubric is approved BEFORE Critique Day of the previous project.
    3. IF YOUR PROJECT ISN'T ON THE LIST, YOU ARE WORKING TOWARDS A ZERO!
    4. Suggested timeline:
      1. Complete planning/pre-production by March 6th. (NOTE: There is no school on the 6th. This will need to be done outside of class.)
      2. Complete recording/production by March 10th.
      3. Complete editing/post-production by March 14th.
      4. Submit project and planning documents by March 16th.
  6. Exit Ticket
    1. Grade 6 (P4A) 
    2. Grades 7&8 (P3A) 
    3. Please do not write generic answers like "Today I worked on my project and I learned some new vocabulary." If you can't convince me you learned and did something new, you won't earn the points.
